Metamorpho Spots

Here is an all-time favorite kid show classic that shows up well for a crowd! And it's terrific if you want to include members of your audience onstage!

It's a very simple effect that you can embellish with jokes and funny bits to make it as long a routine as you'd like.

The basic routine is this: Display an empty black can with white spots, plus a black silk and a white silk.
Place the two silks into the can.
With a pass of your hand, you wipe off all the spots on the can, leaving it plain black.
Where did the spots go?
Reach into the can and pull out the silks- the spots are now on the silks!

Yes, it's very very easy to do!
If you can put the silks into the can, and if you can wipe your hand on the can, YOU CAN DO THE TRICK!

By the way, when you see the trick in person, the spots on the can really do disappear.
Unfortunately, the studio lights we have to use shine directly on our hands, and make it look like the spots may still be there.
That's not the case- this one really does look great in person!
